چکیده

The use of H-ZSM-5 with various binders (Al 2 O 3 , SiO and kaolinite, 10 wt% on catalyst formulation) for the catalytic conversion glycerol to bio-based aromatics (GTA) was investigated in a continuous bench-scale unit at pyrolysis temperature 450 °C, upgrading 500 WHSV pure 1 h ?1 atmospheric pressure, their performance compared (SiO /Al molar ratio 28). latter gave peak BTX carbon yield ca. 31.1C.%, life-time 220 min, total productivity 312 mg g H-ZSM-5. introduction affects performance, which is most profound promising H-ZSM-5/Al catalyst. It shows prolonged 320 min higher 518 H-ZSM-5, without binder. Catalyst characterization studies show that addition binder does not have major effect specific surface area, pore volume, acidity. Other relevant properties were affected, though, such as micropore volume ), reduced Brønsted acidity crystallinity ). Coke formation causes severe deactivation, ultimately leading an inactive formation. after oxidative regeneration showed textural regenerated catalysts close those original catalysts. However, some dealumination occurs, resulting decreased acidity, causing irreversible needs attention future development studies. • H-ZSM-5-in combination three studied (BTX). Best results obtained Al . lifetime 66% obtained. this due coke accommodation capacity.

The Fabrication of Ga2O3/ZSM-5 Hollow Fibers for Efficient Catalytic Conversion of n-Butane into Light Olefins and Aromatics

In this study, the dehydrogenation component of Ga2O3 was introduced into ZSM-5 nanocrystals to prepare Ga2O3/ZSM-5 hollow fiber-based bifunctional catalysts. The physicochemical features of as-prepared catalysts were characterized by means of XRD, BET, SEM, STEM, NH3-TPD, etc., and their performances for the catalytic conversion of n-butane to produce light olefins and aromatics were investiga...

Study of catalytic performance of LaMnO3 and LaMnO3-ZSM-5 nanocatalysts toward 2-propanol conversion

LaMnO3 and LaMnO3/ZSM-5 nano catalysts were synthesized by Pechini method and their physical-chemical properties were characterized using XRD, FTIR, SEM-EDX, UV-vis DRS, BET surface area and TPR. The correlation between characteristic properties and activity of catalysts were investigated. The catalytic performance of the catalysts was evaluated in combustion of 2-propanol...

Synthesis of Bio-aromatics from Black Liquors Using Catalytic Pyrolysis

Bio-aromatics (benzene, toluene, xylenes, BTX) were prepared by the catalytic pyrolysis of six different black liquors using both in situ and ex situ approaches. A wide range of catalysts was screened and conditions were optimized in microscale reactors. Up to 7 wt % of BTX, based on the organic fraction of the black liquors, was obtained for both the in situ and ex situ pyrolysis (T = 500-600 ...

Catalytic Pyrolysis of Willow Wood with Me/ZSM-5 (Me = Mg, K, Fe, Ga, Ni) to Produce Aromatics and Olefins

Biomass catalytic fast pyrolysis is one of the most promising technologies for the production of renewable aromatics and olefins directly from solid biomass. In this study, catalytic pyrolysis experiments were carried out on biomass in a fluidized bed reactor using typical metal-loaded (Mg, K, Fe, Ga, and Ni) ZSM-5 zeolites as catalysts. The effects of catalysts on the product distribution and ...
